GUEST BOOK

We have enjoyed the many years of seeing 'Butterbean' in the mornings at the Hardee's on Mall Blvd. Our sincere thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family. W. H. Johnson William Dub Hope 'Pappy'

I was so sorry to hear about Mr. Parrish's death. Donna called me to let me know. If I had known sooner I would have tried my best to be at the services. I think all of you know how much I love you. If there is anything that I can do, please let me know. I will always remember Mr. Parrish with the warmest regards. He was always fun when we were small and playing outside. Mark and I send our deepest sympathy and, again, If I can do anything please let me know. Love always JoAnn

- JoAnn Miller, Ladson, SC

I will always cherish the memories growing up on Garrard Ave with so many good families and friends. The Parrish's home was a place of great gatherings for the gang...a road to play in, the biggest swing set, trips to skating, square dancing..just to name a few. But I'll always remember Mr. Parrish for taking his time to teach a bunch of girls to play softball at the corner field where Magnolia Baptist was. Mrs. Parrish thank you for teaching me 'Pork N Beans', its the only song I can play on the piano. I send my deepest sympathy and love to the Parrish Family. Mr. Parrish was a GOOD man and is with our Lord in Heaven with family and friends.

- Donna Cobb Anderson, Pooler, ID

My prayers and thoughts are with you all.

- Terri McCusker, Fitzgerald, GA

I have sweet and dear memories of being in the Parrish home as a child growing up in the Garrard Avenue neighborhood. In recent months, I had the oportunity to thank Mr. Parrish for being our chauffer to Shoney's on Victory Drive in the Volkswagen Bus. We fit as many as possible, and of course, no seat belts laws back then! He was a good man to take that mission on as frequent as he did. Coming home over the years and visiting at Wildwood UMC...it was always special to see The Parrish's and there involvement in church and to get the latest update on the Parrish children. Paula, Patti, Grady & Tammy I send my love and sympathy to each of you and your families. When you have 'blue days' be reminded of the celebration he is part of today and the complete healing and fullness of God's awesome love he is experiencing.
